Linköping 06/07 Photo Gallery

Starting in Brokind, 30 km south of Linköping, we took our hired canoe about 12 km up Kinda Kanal. Whenever we spotted a fine place to go on land we would take a break enkoying the sight and our food of course.
At sunset we found an island for putting up our tent and starting the barbeque.
The next day started early (6 o' clock) and foggy, but by the time we put the canoe back to water, it was nice and sunny again. What a trip!

It would have been a waste to stay home on a sunny day like this. So I decided to take my bike some place north of Linköping that looked promising on the map (well, it contained small lakes...). And I think I was lucky - see yourself.

Vild is an association offering hikes and other outdoor events. I went on a hike with them at Getå which is close to Norrköping. The landscape was beautiful and I finally met some Swedes! I was the only foreigner.

Carpe diem. Especially when the day is only 6 hours long. So I went out for a little road trip Linköping - Sturefors - Brokind. On the way I stopped at one of those "Nice place to look at" signs and ended up doing a 1,5 hours walk around the woods of Sturefors.

This was a 1500 km Road trip from Neunkirchen to Linköping. Kai and me started at 6 o' clock on August 11th. We did a short stop at Hannover to pick up Daniel and took a break in Heiligenhafen to visit my friend Manuel. After taking the ferry from Puttgarden to Rodby in Denmark and crossing the Öresund bridge to Sweden we arrived at Linköping at 1 o' clock on 12th.

For this road trip we just picked a spot on the map that looked close to the sea. We finally found the place we had looked for: a lonely Island in the Baltic Sea. We could have a barbecue on the cliffs with the sea in front of us.
The place was close to a town called "St. Anna" about 100km away from Linköping.
